Recipe: Beef stew with beans and pickles
– 150 g beans
– 400 g beef
– 2 onions, chopped
– 2 carrots
– 2 potatoes
– 2 pickles
– 1 liter of water
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt, pepper, rosemary, favorite spices
If you use fresh beans, soak it in cold water overnight or at least several hours. Wash the meat, remove fats, slice into small pieces. Fry in a pan with oil until browned, add onion , fry for few more minutes. Fill all in cooking pot.
Add boiling water, salt, pepper, rosemary and spices. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Add the beans and cook for another 20 minutes.
Then add the chopped potatoes, cucumbers, carrots and cook until the potatoes are soft. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
